Welcome to Kalmegess, we are a small home/hobby breeding operation. Kalmegess was born out of our love for the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, which up until 9 years ago we never knew existed!
We were first introduced to to Tollers at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto in 1999, we saw this unusual looking little red dog with a pink nose and fell in love.  We researched the breed for 3 years and finally decided that we had to have one.   Sue Miller and Bev Keith had puppies on the ground in November of 2002 and they entrusted us with Quinn ...... the rest is history.
Please explore the pages of this website to find out more about our tollers, our philosophy and our love for this wonderfully versatile breed.
